Summary: Staff support was lacking. I had 5 days earlier booked and paid for an underground carpark with access to an overnight EV charger. I used my allocated park, but the single charger was being used (by an unauthorised user, the receptionist told me next day). Two empty bays on the opposite wall had two unused chargers, but on inquiry, the duty manager told me I could not move into the empty bays as they were not my designated bay. (Both bays were still unused the following morning). The duty manager refused to assist me further.

Summary: Very good stay. Super central location. Friendly and helpful staff. A couple of details missing - Could have done with two facecloths - ( most people like their own one to use!), more milk sachets - to make tea and coffee for two people per day , four mini milk sachets doesn’t cut it!! Also, no dishwash to hand wash the dishes , nor a dishcloth to wipe up bench spills made it tricky. These are easy fixes and it would not stop me staying again.

Summary: First time back after opening of new road replacing The Gorge. Great improvement! Some excellent new restaurants (Madame Social especially) and some old favs doing well (fish at Mr D's was memorable). The enormous south at the Upper Norwood cafe was absolutely wonderful.

Summary: Had a comfortable 3 day stay in Central Napier. Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. I was happy with the kichen facilties, which we used to cook a meal. Persons on reception were very courteous.
